Continue to live while resisting the temptation to regret your past. Instead, you need to take full advantage of your future. After all, it isn’t how you start in life, it’s how you finish. Here’s to finishing strong in life.

Maintaining Decisional Integrity
by David B. Bohl

One of the greatest problems is that many people set unrealistic goals, or do not know how to establish goals at all. In order to achieve success, your goals must be something you can reasonably accomplish. If they are not realistic, you will give up on them.

There are other things that can sabotage your road to success, though. This is where your personal decision making ability comes into play. more>>

A Random Act of Kindness: 15 Ideas to Kickstart Your Intention
by Evelyn Lim

It’s more than likely that you’ve ever committed a random act of kindness. To make this a conscious process, simply form an intention to be kind and start with an act today.

You may be tempted to think that an act of kindness often involves the giving of money or the buying of gifts. However, it need not necessarily be so. It can be as simple as sending a card, doing an unsolicited task for those in need or letting others in a hurry to get ahead of you in line. As with everything, the more often you do it, the more it becomes a habit. Your next act can seem small to you but may mean a lot to the recipient! more>>

If you find yourself constantly rushed to finish your day’s work, then you need to start spending your time more wisely. The harsh reality is, you probably have plenty of time to get your work finished. With the following little tips, you will soon be spending that time much more wisely: more>>

What’s Keeping You from Taking Action?
by Jonathan Mead

Recently I’ve got caught up in the habit of over-engineering my life. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to figure out the best way to be the most productive.

How can I make the best use of my time, what systems can I use to get things done faster, better, more efficiently? What can I do to stop procrastinating and start taking action? All of these are very valid questions and each of them has some merit to them. more>>

Gain Inner PeaceTen Steps to Gain Inner Peace
by Astrid Lee

I came across these two very interesting videos that I enjoyed listening to. They feature Wayne Dyer’s talk at a conference at Tyson, Arizona, on the 10 Symptoms of Inner Peace, that were handed down to him.

This is a genuine food-for-the-soul article. Grow and enjoy! more>>

The Discipline of Celebration
by Cameron Schaefer

It doesn’t seem right, does it? Celebration should be the one thing in our life that doesn’t require discipline. Discipline is reserved for the hard things like eating healthy, practicing the piano, or sitting through the preliminary rounds of American Idol.

But, in the midst of our busy lives, celebration is often overlooked, forgotten and put off until later, “when things settle down.” Celebration, the very thing we need to stay joyful and balanced, becomes the one thing we never make time for. Our lack of celebration is killing us. more>>

In Gratitude You Accept Yourself
by CG Walters

I am almost ashamed to say that I am a latecomer in openly acknowledging the importance of expressing gratitude as spiritual ritual—Yes, I realized I’ve missed the mark for Thanksgiving. more>>

Illusion of Self

True Life Purpose Goes Beyond Illusion of Self
by Akemi Gaines

Money is good. We live in capitalism and we need money to buy comforts. The problem is, once we cover our needs for security and wellness – foods, clothes, roof over our head, insurance, etc. — the more money and stuffs don’t always bring us more satisfaction, but many of us are not aware of this. Then what will bring true happiness? more>>

How to Use Personal Development to Find Buried Treasure
by Aaron Potts

Is your quest for personal development fueled by the desire to attain some specific goal, or are you merely on a quest to “better” yourself?

Most people have something very specific that they are striving for as they walk down the path of personal development, even if an overall betterment of themselves is a welcome side effect to the process. I submit to you that despite the often discussed value of specific goal setting, that it is the general betterment of ourselves that is actually the hidden driving force in our personal development efforts. more>>

Letting Go of Guilt When You Need to Change Priorities
by Lorraine Cohen

It’s ok to shift priorities when you really need to. That’s what being in the flow is about. Listening and following where you feel guided to go rather than trying to go against your instincts, intuition, or needs. It takes time to develop and trust that muscle of distinguishing between avoidance and following your heart especially when guilt creeps in. Guilt is really fear. more>>
