Do something, even if it’s one small thing, every day and see your life begin to change. To see change in your life and to begin moving from point A (where you are today) to point B (where you want to be) you must take action. Doing nothing will keep you stuck – and how’s that working for you?
Over the next few days we will discuss the following four, proven principles used by successful people to improve their financial situation, health and create significant and fulfilling relationships:
Principle 1: Take Action Everyday
Principle 2: Do What You Can, When You Can
Principle 3: Begin Right Now, Today
Principle 4: Keep Your Focus
Truly meaningful change does not happen overnight – it begins with taking small baby steps. Just the fact you have read this far into today’s post indicates you must be m
otivated and open to change. A few years ago I was introduced to the following statement: “You can not change or heal what you do not acknowledge.” This statement, this fact, has changed my life. The simple acknowledgment of an issue or a circumstance, and the desire to change, is a great first step.
If you are ready to take that first step and to acknowledge what you want to change in your life, please bookmark this page and come back tomorrow. Until then, consider what is keeping you from creating and living the life you want and deserve. Next, list a few goals, or action steps, that will help you start moving from point A to point B.
Change is a process and begins to occur as a result of an accumulation of steps taken every day. Each day, I set goals and take daily action towards my goals. For example, I set a goal to write every day; tell my wife I love her very much, and read something in order to learn a little each day. Give yourself permission, and the time you need, to consider what you would like to do each day to begin creating the life you would like to have. This may be the best gift you ever give yourself.
